Ever seen a cool looking bug and want to know more about it? Or need help identifying a plant you ve seen at the park? Welcome to the City of Riverside s Citizen Science Nature Spotter app a handy tool that helps nature lover s record their observations, whether it be an insect, plant, animal, or anything else. Spotters can send a photo or video with questions about what they ve seen and a Naturalist will reply with feedback. Observations will be collected and used to create an online database to share with fellow Nature Spotters. So get outdoors, open the app, take or choose a photo/video, and send with your comments or questions! This application was developed by City of Riverside, CA Information Technology Department working with Riverside Metropolitan Museum, the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department, and their Riverside Citizen Science partners. The Nature Spotter can be downloaded for free from the Apple iOS AppStore by searching keyword Naturespotter
